We have great pride in supporting the Healthcare Clown Organization

We have chosen to support the Healthcare Clown Organization, a non-profit organization whose mission is cheering up children in hospitals with professionally trained healthcare clowns. The organization has also expanded its activities to visiting seniors' group homes, where clowns try to make loneliness happier.

According to our corporate philosophy, meeting our social commitments is a very important goal for us. With the donation to the Healthcare Clown Organization, we are proudly listed as one of the responsible companies that help the organization to run and develop their activities, bettering life’s of those they assist.

Brexit preparations in case of a No Deal Brexit on the 29th March

As we are getting closer to the 29th of March we need to be prepared in case the UK leaves the EU without a deal,  enabling us to assure your cargo gets there as usual, on time and with no surcharges.  We understand the key role we play in your companies supply chains and the planning we have in place assures business as usual.

Your business will need to make some preparations in case of a No Deal Brexit, below is our short guide what will be needed to ensure smooth shipping.

  • An EORI number is required if trading goods with countries outside the EU. If the UK leaves the EU on the 29th of March a UK EORI number will be required to trade with the EU
  • Obtain your supplier’s EORI / UK EORI number, they may be required for Customs declarations.
  • Become familiar with the UN codes of ADR goods you ship within the EU. It will be also required for Customs clearance.

 

At EGT we are focused on preparing all arrangements to ensure the smoothest transition for our clients both in the UK and EU. Our teams are engaged in discussion, to ensure the preparations & adjustments to our processes are implemented and all change is properly installed into our internal systems throughout the entire network we operate. We will provide you required support through customs, excise and VAT processes.

New groupage consolidation service Vilnius - Leningrad Region offers a 3-day transit time

We have launched a new groupage route with dedicated consolidation service in our hub in Vilnius. The shuttle connects the cities – St. Petersburg, Sebezh, Velikiye Luki, Veliky Novgorod, Pskov and Vyborg within a 3 - 5 day transit time on a weekly basis. Our Vilnius hub along with its fleet of vehicles is capable to handle apart from general cargo also reefer, hazardous, heavy loads etc. even if goods are transhipped from other EGT facilities. 

By opening the new service with our base right in Lithuania we ensure our transport network deploys premium level logistics solutions for both, inbound and outbound freight forwardingThe route is interconnected to the European network or even as far as to the whole of Asia.

Operation on National Holidays at our Headquarters

Please note the HQ office and terminal in Olomouc (CZ) is closed for national holidays on July 5th, 6th. We will be fully available on 9th July to support any full & part loads, express, out-of-gauge, reefer, road, rail, sea and air freight enquiries you might have.

Responsible people will have limited acces to emails. We will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
